2. What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage and comparable browser storage mechanisms. These technologies can store preferences or technical identifiers.
3. Our current approach: minimal use, no tracking by default
We apply a strict, privacy-first approach. We do not currently use analytics, advertising, retargeting or social media tracking cookies on this website. We do not embed third-party tracking pixels for marketing purposes.
Only the technologies listed below are used. If we introduce additional cookies or tracking technologies in the future, we will update this policy and, where required by law, obtain your consent before any non-essential storage or access.
4. Technologies we use
| Name / type | Provider | Purpose | Duration | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|---|---|
axesscom-lang (local storage) | Axesscom (first party) | Stores your selected website language (EN/DE) so you are not asked on every visit | Until deleted in browser settings | § 25(2) No. 2 TTDSG (strictly necessary) / Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR |
| Server session / log data | Axesscom hosting | Technical delivery, security and error diagnosis (not a browser cookie, but relevant storage on our servers) | See Privacy Policy (typically up to 30 days) | Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR |
5. Categories of cookies (legal classification)
5.1 Strictly necessary
These are required for core functions such as language preference and secure page delivery. They are not used for profiling. Under § 25(2) TTDSG, no consent is required for strictly necessary storage/access.
5.2 Analytics, marketing and third-party cookies
Not in use at this time. Should we deploy such technologies later, they will only be activated after your explicit consent via a consent mechanism, and you will be able to withdraw consent at any time with future effect.
6. Third-party content
Some pages (for example AI Insights) may load content or links from external publishers when you actively use those features. Those third parties may set their own cookies if you visit their websites. We do not control third-party cookies. Please review the privacy and cookie policies of external sites before interacting with them.
7. How to manage cookies and local storage
You can delete or block cookies and clear local storage in your browser settings at any time. Common browser help pages:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions
If you delete the language preference entry, the site may revert to the default language until you select a language again.
Blocking all storage may limit website functionality.
8. Your rights
For information about your GDPR rights (access, deletion, objection, etc.), see our Privacy Policy. Contact: kontakt@axesscom.de.
9. Changes
We update this Cookie Policy when our use of technologies changes or when laws are amended. The current version is published here with the date below.
